An actual scene from the book- for once! woooo! for some reason i didn't learn my lesson from last time and was like "hm... lets do another complicated illustration!". this one was a little less painful but I'm Definitely doing some reward self-indulgent simple art after this. I do really like how this came out! I think i got the vibe in the story pretty well! And i love to start the year off with a good drawing, so hopefully this'll suffice! Max and Alex hanging out in a tavern together! (they have both drank way too much for their own goods-) also some super fun background character designs! maybe ill bring some of them back as their own ocs... I'm already attached to... pretty much all the characters to be honest.
