Maltese name: Limonju tal-bahar
Occurrence: Frequent, common in some areas.
habitat: Coastal areas mainly
other info: very small shrub like flat plant with long infloresences stalks. flowers are small and lilac coloured. another two similar endemisc, Limonium zeraphae and Limonium melitensis, also occur, but less common.

So exactly what's the difference betwen the Maltese, the Seaside, and Zerafa's Sea Lavender, ghax i could never tell them apart!

as far as i know, which doesn't make sense to me on a species level, the Zerafa ones have supine infloresecens, meaning that flowers stalks grow from one side only on the main flower stalk.

Vera? I thought the flowers were whiter. And what's different about the seaside sea lavender?

could be. i think sea side sea lavender has longer infloresecens stalks.

They reminded me of the veins inside the pink or coral colored leaves of a poinsettia. Couldn't find a good example this is as close as I could get to what I imagined [link]
