Honey, the Mothcat mascot! She's also my personal bab, ahh. ;w;

Here's a little bio about Mothcats so far:

Mothcats are kitten-sized hybrids that have been bred to keep as pets. Originally found in forests, mothcats were believed to be "fairies" that fluttered among the trees, gathering shiny items and string to decorate their dens. They communicate through chirps and mews, similar to domestic cats, and they purr when they are content and/or comfortable.

Mothcat cocoons are sometimes found hidden in bushes and trees, and it is considered good luck to find one. If one is fortunate enough to successfully hatch a mothcat, then they will earn a lifelong friend. Be careful though! Mothkittens are very mischievous, and this behavior might carry on to adulthood if not properly trained!

Mothcat Care

1. If you're lucky enough to stumble upon the tiny mothcat cocoon, do not eat!
2. Keep the cocoon somewhere warm and dry.
3. Place a cotton ball soaked in sugar water next to the cocoon.
4. Wait for the mothkitten to hatch - usually 4-10 days.
5. After it hatches, let the mothcat rest and feed on the sugar water.

Your Mothcat and You

1. Mothkittens can get very sticky from their sugar water diet, but do not get them wet! Mothcats are capable of cleaning themselves, but their thick coat retains moisture - not good.
2. You can snuggle your mothcat all you want, but do take care with their wings. Mothcats need them to fly about and get exercise!
3. Mothcats LOVE dust baths. Give them a nice bowl of dust/powder to roll around in.
4. Mothcats are primarily nocturnal, napping during the day and fluttering around at night.
5. Strangely enough, mothcats love artificial light. A nightlight in their habitat will make them feel right at home!
5. Fully grown mothcats are usually around 9-12 cm.
