I remember when I first got into shoujo manga.
I was browsing a magazine reading through a review of different manga, and fell upon Millenium Snow. It was about a vampire and a girl and a werewolf and it was a love triangle (this was long before Twilight took over, mind you,) and it wasnt half bad. I quite liked it actually. So I looked through the ads at the back of the book and stumbled onto Ouran (by the same author). I was hesitant to buy it (art quality was always a big thing for me back then,) but I did eventually buy it and read it.
And I stayed with it, 'til the end. And have read several other shoujo manga since then. But Ouran will always be special.
So as a fan of yuri and this series, I feel the need to point out how awesome this series would be if it was set at an all-girls school with an all-female cast. Just saying.
