Since a few days, there's a lot of mist every morning, as often in this period of the year. The light is very good now we are in autumn, and creates huge sunrays through the morning mist... a very magic and peaceful atmosphere, I really enjoy these mornings.Loire, France.

But why do we see two suns? Have you combined several exposures manually or with a tool like Photomatix?

Nop, this happens when you take the sun between leaves with great focal lenght : it creates a star in each empty space between the leaves which has the sun behind... I don't know if I explained well, I hope you understood.

For this image, there is 2 exposures : one makes almost all the image, the other was just for the very highlights (which was too overewposed on the main expo), around the sun and partly between the two main trees on the right.

Quiet, peaceful, sweet. I can almost hear the birds chirping in the distance. It's so easy to relax and just enjoy this picture.
