This isn't supposed to be a professional photo; it barely counts as art.
But tonight, at about 8:45pm, my mom saved that little itty-bitty bunny from the cat, Jake.
So, you know, she goes to set up a little carrier to keep it in for the time being, til we decide what to do with it. (Probably let it go, but we want to make sure it's okay.)
So, you know, it's shaking, it's in shock, so I hold it for about 30 minutes, petting it and keeping it warm. I made sure it was okay, no bleeding, and nothing felt broken. (Luckily I know plenty about animals!)
Then, about 30 minutes later, I move a bit, and I noticed it was watching me. Not just staring, but moving its head. So I go to set it down, and its ears perk up and it tries to hop away. I catch the little cutie and put him in the carrier. It panicked a bit, but it found itself a cozy little spot in the back. We gave it food and water, and I think it'll be okay! I'll be sure to update with the bunny status later!

Now, I know this is just about as cute as it gets, but you need to be careful with wild animals, baby or not. Wash your hands thoroughly after handling, and you're probably safe changing your clothes, if it touched them. You have to be very careful with wild animals!

So yes, that's my white-as-copy-paper hand. I don't really have big hands, so shows you just how tiny that bunny is!

Wow! I really wasn't expecting such a reaction! I only put this up because I got way excited that I was holding a cute little bunny!
Seriously though, that was a great response! I'd never gotten on to 90 messages before, all but a handful being about one deviation. Thank you all so much!
I'm sure you'll all be glad to know that the cute little bunny survived the night. It's hopping around and everything! I'll be sure to take more pictures with a camera, rather than my phone.
