I love the contrast between the black trees and colorful sky, it's very beautiful. However i feel that there's something missing. It might be a matter of taste, but the only thing i feel when looking at a picture like this is "meh".
It needs something special, something that takes your breath away, something that makes this picture worth looking at. A sunset happens every day, everywhere, and even through it's beautiful it's not something we remember.
One of the little things i've learned about photography, based upon what i've seen, is that it's a tough artform to get yourself known within. You have to have something in your photos that's really striking, something that not everyone can capture. This photo is just like almost every photo i've seen off a sunset.
I know that didn't sound very motivational, but i don't really know what else to say. I wish i was more helpful, but again, i'm not a photographer so i may very well be wrong.
