I finished the Warring Kindoms Nidalee art that I had been working on for a while. I can't say how long it took me exactly, since I did paint it on the span of three weeks, and probably drew it on the span of a few months. I would honestly estimate maybe around 8 hours altogether at least, but I cannot say for sure.

This was done in watercolours on a 9 by 12 inch paper that is 140 lbs.

I've been playing league for a long time. I want to say around four years now. I have always loved Nidalee as a champion, and I have loved her play style since day one. I have all the skins, and before the skin art update, Warring Kingdoms was one of my favourite skins. Now, I want to paint a big compilation of all her cougar forms together, but I ended up drawing the schematics for this instead. Essentially, she's looking into her reflection in the puddle. Instead of seeing herself, she sees the beast she keeps within.

I did have some issues. There's no proper way to really find detailed look of her clothes and her weapon. While I did use a lot of art references, the art reference I had to the spear I realized halfway through painting the entire piece, was completely wrong in regards to the shape of her actual spear. I had to change it from her spear to maybe a training weapon made out of wood.

I hate not being accurate with anything. It ticked me off a bunch, though the wood did turn out pretty good. It does not take away from anything in the piece, which is nice.
