Look darling, I can stand on my stumps with my socks on and it hurts very little. I don't think I'll buy any prostheses, just a pair of stockings with rubber to walk on. It will certainly take a while before I can walk with them, but I don't care. It's also going to be a bit strange when people see I only have stumps to walk on.
