Don't know if I told you yet but anyway, her left eye stands for "hidden pain". Since she was young, she bear the pain others did to her inside and suffer alone, through times her left eye started to be dark and darker and darker then full of black, after some more of bearing the pain, there started to have some kinds of line crossing through her left eye causing her even more pain and the eye look terrifying so she covered it up but since she bear her pain for too long so her left face was also turned into something that look terrifying so she also covered it up. In order to save herself for taking away her own life, she started to find a way out. Luckily she found Ava, they are best friends and thanks to Ava's love, Gi's left face started to look normal again but not her eye, Ava have the same problem with the eye but in Ava's side, it's right eye.and since Ava's life is a bit brighter, Ava didn't suffer as much as Gi did. Then to not killing themselves, they stands up for each other, whenever something happened, they will protect each other and always tryst each other but the pain will never be gone but as long as their friendship alive then they'll be fine
