A page full of sketches I've done recently, to keep me happy amidst the other work I'm doing.

Some of these require explanation, and a few characters who have never been in my gallery before deserve an introduction.

That insane-looking bird is Psycrow, one of Earthworm Jim's main nemeses. Psycrow is actually one of my favoirte characters from anything, ever... and it's been that way since I was three or so. Earthworm Jim (the games and the cartoon) was actually one of the greatest influences on my art style- heck, in inspiring me to draw at all, and it was a huge part of my younger years; yet I never pay tribute to it. I think that's going to change soon, though! Psycrow is also the inspiration for how I draw Count Bleck... in fact, my very first drawings of Bleck that I never showed here looked a lot more like Psycrow, but I toned down the resemblence into the style I use today.

The cat is Piddles, Grunty's new assistant in Nuts and Bolts! [link] Though absolutely nothing is known about her yet, my cat-loving senses immediately spazzed out. PURPLE KITTY! I really hope she's a cool character, because already I've been drawing her a lot. Currently I'm imagining her personality as being downtrodden, timid, and forced/threatened into being Grunty's assistant, just because of the way she looks in that screenshot, but I could be completely wrong. I also think she might be magical.

Those scary looking Jinjo things are the Blade Stonies, from the Jinjo-Minjo War. Long story short- the dark sorcerer Minjo, Blade, brainwashed and led off a group of various creatures, and used a powerful crystallized form of his magic to transform them all into beasts to do his bidding. Included in the group were four Stonies, who have been reshaped into Blade's image and are living weapons of war. Not shown is the one who has hammers for arms. These guys are not nice, not nice at all.

And finally, um, Klungo in a cat suit... XD Yeah. That one's for the folks at the Rare Witch Project. I've never drawn Klungo before, and the first time has to be like this. How sad... like the poor guy hasn't been through enough without this humiliation.
