I really do need to work out how to fix up paintings in photoshop, if anyone has any tips or knows any good tutorials I would be very grateful.

Anyway, this is my part of an art trade with the amazing , of their character that can be seen here:

I am very pleased with the background, although you can't see the wash at the back because of the strange things I did to the picture to try to make it less grey. The shading as well went well, I think overall I surprised myself with this. The tail was odd to draw, but I do love the idea of it, and I think it worked out ok in the end. I used this stock as a reference for the body:

My boyfriend really liked the crown, he commented on it basically every time I asked him what he thought.
