Alternate title: "The falcon with wolf's claws"
since he is like both a soaring falcon and a ferocious wolf. funny, yuri's artes are based off birds and wolves too...

anyway, here is some fanart of possibly my favorite character from my favorite game, Tales of Vesperia, his name as you've probably gathered from the title, is Zagi.
he is an insane, nuts and completely crazy assassin origonally targeting the main character yuri's best friend and Rival Flynn scifo, but after experiencing yuri's fighting potential he grows attracted to him and becomes obsessed with tryign to kill him, though its more the fighting he is interested in than the killing. he sees yuri as his equal and an obstavle for him to overcome. but he could never express his emotions and after getting in the party's way numerous times so yuri would pay attention to him, they end up killing him.

when i was daydreaming my main OC Xai being in vesperia, i imagined this:
Xai went to Taqaron after it was destroyed at the end of Brave Vesperia's quest and went insitde, there he found zagi's corpse in a pile of rubble, and took him away where he replaced the broken Blastia arm he had with a new one of a more advanced and efficient design similar to is own (he already happened to have a robotic arm on the same side as zagi, coincidence xD)
and after seeing what xai could do he agrees to partner with him as xai always seemed to find trouble, and zagi liked fighting. aside from that, xai told him just why yuri was so strong. because of strong bonds of friendship and rivalry. he said "yuri is your rival, now let me be your friend, then you will be complete, and can bloom to your full potential". xai also had his close friend Kaori make some new clothes for zagi since his old ones were torn.

The funny line i thought of when i was drawing it. incase something is wrong and you cant read it, it says "I'm back Yuri! I have a new arm, new powers, andi finally found my hair gel!" I lost it at Heracles.

since i love zagi so much and theres not that much fanart, i decided to draw him, it took me a while to get round to it, but im extremly happy with how this turned out.
i kept progressign wherever anything went wrong and i made it good! I can comfortably say, this is the best anime picture i have drawn in my whole life so far.

i was a little unhappy about the angles though, i had to improvise a lot with is legs until i got them good enough, and even then i needed to stretch them into proportion on the computer. it was meant to look like him leaning forward, lis legs were never even suppposed to be that visible as it was supposed ot be almost head on hehe. oh well i still like how the psoe turned out.
my friend said that zagi looks like Yugi of Yu-gi-oh. but i say, particularly with my drawin style here, that he looks more like Yoh from Shaman king.
