i know nothing about rendering or anything, but i feel like maybe the pole that's farther back should be blurred a bit more, the focus of it makes me feel like its closer :/

This is brilliant! I love doing random things with teapots lol did you use 3ds Max? Which version? Looks a bit like mental ray for shading... As a fellow 3d modeller, I salute you on a job well done!

This reminds me of an old screen saver from the Mac Classic called "After Dark"... it had racing... er, wait, maybe it was, no... i thought it was teapots, then again, i believe it was flying toasters.

the landscape and compositon is very dali-esque..was he any where near our inspiration, i like the the juxtapositioning of teapots and the dessert very nice.
