Believe it or not, this meme was really kind of hard for me to figure out. I have so many favorites, it's hard to put them in a certain order from 3 to 10 (1 and 2 were the easy ones).

1. "The Monkees" - my first exposure to the Monkees was Nickelodeon back in 1987, but I really didn't get into them until summer of 1997, when Nick at Nite ran the show during their Block Party Summer. From then on, I was hooked.

2. "Frankenstein Jr. & The Impossibles" - yeah, I know what some of you are thinking. Why isn't *this* number one, right? Probably because I like the Monkees a little bit better, but you *knew* this one was going to be on here. I know you knew.

3. "I Love Lucy" - One of my all time favorite TV shows. I can not watch one episode without laughing. I dare anyone to try. I don't care what anyone says about this, but in my opinion, Lucille Ball is the Queen of Comediennes.

4. "The Get Along Gang" - this cartoon has been with me since childhood. I was two years old when it premiered in 1984, and it's been one of my favorites since then. When it finally came to DVD, I watched it about four or five times in a row (repeated viewings is what eventually did in the original tape I had some episodes on)

5. "The Adventures of Superman" - the 1951 version starring George Reeves (who, by the way is NOT related to Christopher Reeve). I think this is the world's most underrated Superman. So it wasn't the world's best Superman, and it was corny, but this was *1951* and TV was relatively still new back then. Take that into consideration.

6. "The Patty Duke Show" - another one I saw on Nickelodeon back in the 1980's, but I wasn't a regular viewer. I bought Patty Duke's autobiography about two or three years ago, for some reason or another, and that led to be buying the first season of the show on DVD, and I was hooked.

7. "Darkwing Duck" - another all time favorite cartoon. This show and the Monkees are the main inspiration behind "Camp Monkee Mallard," however I don't generally advertise to the Darkwing Duck fandom, because I tweak some of the characters so badly, they're unrecognizable. This isn't higher on the list because I'm constantly in and out of this fandom. More out than in, really.

8. "Top Cat" - my mom's favorite Hanna-Barbera cartoon, and it's rubbed off on me. Probably because it's about a group of cats, and cats are my favorite animal. My cat, Snowball, *has* actually sat on my bed and looked at the TV while I was watching it once, and because of this, and her reaction when I posed her with my plush Top Cat, inspired me to pretend that TC was her boyfriend.

9. "Secret Squirrel" - and not just the Secret Squirrel cartoons. This also includes Squiddly Diddly and Winsome Witch, too. The whole shebang. I love Mel Blanc as Secret Squirrel, and then there's what I like to call the "Frees Factor" (Paul Frees, that is).

10. "Care Bears" - all animated incarnations of it from 1983 to 1989. My two favorite Care Bears cartoons are the first two specials, "The Care Bears in the Land Without Feelings" (1983) and "The Care Bears Battle the Freeze Machine" (1984). They were on the same tape as those Get Along Gang episodes I mentioned earlier. I was pretty ticked off though, when The Powers That Be released the two specials on DVD. They were edited. Ugh! This was because at one point, The Powers That Be aired the two specials as episodes of the Care Bears Saturday Morning TV series.

I hear the Care Bears are now in CGI animated format! This prompted them to appeal to a new generation of Preschoolers everywhere! Amazing what wonderful stuff can be said about Care bears these days. Thanks so much for sharing this!

Yeah, but I'm an Old School sort of girl. Not that there's anything wrong with CGI, don't get me wrong, it's just a personal preference.
