I like girls with horns too! I love the red makeup contrasting with her green eyes,and the cracks in her horns make them look like she uses them for fighting (or just hit them against the wall once too often),

I really like the expression and the lighting effects, so I guess your style as a whole! :3 Just one question, where do you draw the inspiration for these kinds of portrait, just arbitrarily or are they also for your writer friend's work?

Inspiration comes from different stuff, movies, art works, games... that's why I like DA a lot, I got a lot of inspiration from other artists. It rarely show, because the end result often present no resemblance, sometimes the inspiration could be color combination...

I rarely draw for other people, so most of these are personal stuff.

It really is a sweet piece. simple and powerful. It reads great as a thumbnail and has enough detail to make it captivating at a large scale. The white hair and face paint are inspired! I'm a big fan of this image

Wow, really cool use of colors. I really like the paint on her face. The eye on the right seems to be a little off somehow though. Like it's looking a little far to the right. Other than that. It looks great!
