You've changed my life. Plain and simple, and that is very clear to me.

I don't know how, but you always manage to cheer me up. You've done so much for me these past 4 years, it's not even funny. Our friendship has gone through a lot, and I know we have a lot more to go through before I even think about giving you up.

You've kept with me, even through the times where I'd thought I'd lost you for doing some of the many stupid things I've said and done. And through all that, I've changed. I've become stronger, and a little bit smarter about things.

The distance between us has put us through some challenges. Many of my family, and some of my friends, don't approve of us being so close. As you know, I've been told that "A best friend is no use if they're on the other end of the country" which you've proved wrong many times over.

I've grown since that weekend. And I wouldn't have been able to cope without you. That weekend, that horrible weekend, changed me. I've been a lot tougher since. And I wouldn't of been able to handle it without you.

I wish we were closer, and I know you feel the same way. But don't EVER EVER EVER think you can't help. There are people who see me everyday who don't and can't help me like you do.

I will get over there, one way or another.

It's more than just meeting you, it's finally being able to be with you (as lesbian and lovey as that sounds). I just want to let you know in a way more than just words and pictures on a screen how much you mean to me.
And I hope one day I can.
