I love how the lightning bolt looks like a root, you know? I mean, the way the top part is thicker than the bottom part? It's lovely. And then the bottom part connecting to the mountain? Makes me think that the sky is the soil, and the mountain is the bottom part of the soil, yeah? It's extremely hard to catch a lightning bolt, and therefore I applaud you. I would tell you all sorts of lightning facts, but now isn't the time. I do have a question though. Is there somehow you can make the house less in focus and the lightning bolt more in focus? I know it's hard, but it's worth a try, yes? Maybe put the shutter on sport or something a little faster? Just suggestions.

It's not easy to capture lightning bolts, even just by using my Samsung Galaxy 5, however I still could've cropped it more in Photoshop CS6, but I was afraid that it might've lost some quality?
As how I've took picture, again I've used my Samsung Galaxy 5, and I've just recorded it with my video camera part of it!

OK. I didn't know if you had an actually camera. You could've used a reduce noise filter on the R, B and G aspects of the image to improve quality.

I like it as well. Lightning is so pretty, yet dangerous. They are basically pure electricity.

It's like with a tornado, while it's very pretty to look at from a distance, but it's still very dangerous!

I've never actually seen a tornado, not even once mainly because Montana doesn't really get too many of those!
However, I've heard that there were a few that did touch down quite a while back ago?
1. My grandmother told me that there was one in Coffee Creek, and it knocked a person's mobileΒ home over, with him still in it and he has said that his kitchen knives came flying towards him, he was still amazed that he was even alive!:(
2. I've also read a while back ago in the newspaper that Lewistown had one that had destroyed an elevator shaft, and people had left it alone ever since then.
3. Of course, there was another one somewhere near Billings that someone had posted on YouTube a while back ago!
I live somewhere in the Flathead where there has been a record of some Waterspouts either by Big Mountain, or by Flathead Lake, and even then I still don't get a chance to see them!

Wow! In Upstate NY, we don't get tornados, ever, though last year there was a couple warnings for them.
