No. Even if these universes are connected,it takes place LOOOOOONG after mario died,as they have more technology than mario could hope for,i mean they found a way to utilize a liquid from their bodies that makes enemies explode on contact. All mario did was jump on shit. And play sports. And use a robotic super soaker.
