i promise you i can do better, i just didnt have the right stuff on me that day. should of bought different colored icing tubes do draw all those details on ( i used a toothpick.. :/ ) and then realized i forgot to outline rainbow dash's cutie mark..had had this idea for some time and thought i give it a try
also my first time using fondant i used a marshmallow kind that i made ( i hear store bought isn't all that great, and i need them to taste as good as they look)
ohmygosh they were so much work, i might attempt to make them again next time, but once i gather all the ingredients and all and i'll share how they'll turn out

heres a suggestion frost the background layer first then chill for a while then work on the marks

well i used fondant its a playdough like frosting and first time using it too...
i first cut out some for background then cutie marks (used icing for 'glue') and added details with colored icing. should have used those lil tubes, it turned out messy cause i used a toothpick ( all i had on me T.T)

That's a great idea. I know my first cake was a total fail. I put the icing on the warm cake. Woops.
As for their work here, not as bad a mess up. But chilling the cupcakes before adding the details is a great idea. O: -Wants to make a cupcake that looks like Spike's birthday cupcake-

haha, they were actually meant for you, and a chocolate chip muffin for derpy. but i was just trying out to see if i could make them. once i did i was like... i'm not making anymore! lol so i made you those other ones
