Description

Hiss grunt
○ GENERAL INFORMATION ○ "Stop whining you giant fucking crybaby, life's not fair to any of us."
Name: Todd Jonathan Blackthorn Bone Hunter, goes by Hunter
Birthday / Age: 27th March// 18
Sex / Gender: Male
Species: #105 Marowak (Alolan)
Ability: Lightning Rod
Height: 5'7"ft / 1,73m
Weight: 158lbs / 71,6kg
Special Traits: Brindle   [splotches on feet and knuckles, slight line under his eyes]

Moves:

  •  Double Kick (Egg)
    Power-Level: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆ (7/10)
[The target is quickly kicked twice in succession using both feet.]
Hunter always had been a super active child, even early on in his life he kicked around a lot when laid down until he finally could walk. And boy did he walked and kicked a lot. The move came rather naturally to him - first being just a simple, weak kick but as he grew, so grew the move with him.
The move manifests itself in two fast kicks with a slight greenish glow - they can either be used with one leg twice or with both in row. They are fast, but only do considerable damage if both kicks connect with the target. Hunter is able to disrupt the attack by his own and has a ten second long time break before he has to use the other kick. If he doesn't it'll leave him with a leg pent up with energy - most often causing hurtful cramps and temporal paralysis in said leg. In general, this move is followed by slightly numbness in the legs which will get worse if he doesn't put at least a few brief breaks in between usages.

  •  Shadow Bone
    Power-Level: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆ (7/10)
[The user attacks by beating the target with a bone that contains a spirit. This may also lower the target's Defense stat.]
Hunter sees this as... an upgrade to his Bone Club move he used to have as a Cubone. And in a way, it is, matching his typing way better. It wasn't hard for him to learn this move since it is nearly the same as he knew. Though, he's still having slightly trouble on mastering it and for a while now, he kind of tapped on the spot with this, even though it is his most used move.
The Marowak charges his bone club (or any bone) with ghastly aura, giving it a strange, fiery vibe - which may take the opponent off-guard, lowering their defense. Though to do so, it takes him some focus - often leading him into a tunnel vision where he can only focus on this target alone. It's easy to take himself off-guard while he's using it. Aside from this rather impractical point the move has, focusing the eerie aura takes some energy and will drain his stamina with each time.
If he doesn't have a bone club around, Hunter can create one out of this ghostly energy completely, however it costs a lot of more energy and can happen to just sap it away until he gets migraines and blurry vision. He can hold this move for about three minutes, but once it connects with anything, the energy will disappears and he has to activate the move again.

  •  Flare Blitz
    Power-Level: ★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ (1/10)
[The user cloaks itself in fire and charges the target. This also damages the user quite a lot. This may leave the target with a burn.]
A move Hunter itched to learn properly since he accidentally used it after his evolution. However in his haste, Hunter simply overestimated himself. By rubbing or smacking his bone club against his head, sparks are created that start a fire he can engulf himself - to tackle the opponent with fierce strength, which sometimes can leave nasty burns on them. Though he has to suffer from the recoil, most often appearing in bruises on parts that were used to tackle - or even causing slight burns on himself. If used too often, Hunter can end up with fractured bones or severe headaches/trauma.
Though, that is only the case if the move actually succeeds in happening. Which currently only has a 5% chance to do so. And even then he only has a narrow time span of 15 seconds to use this attack. In the other 95% of the time, Hunter clubs his skull like head, only to create way too strong sparks, releasing too much energy and blowing himself up - letting him faint in an instant. While it is impressive and loud to watch, you really would need direct contact to be affected by this... embarrassment of a move. So far, Hunter is way too proud to forget about it, yet is actually wary of training Flare Blitz as well.

  •  Pain Split (Tutor)
    Power-Level: ★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ (1/10)
[The user adds its HP to the target's HP, then equally shares the combined HP with the target.]
A move Hunter was trained without his knowledge - his tutor placing specific workouts paired with the recent emotional distress he's dealing with, this move came strangely natural to him. He isn't too aware that he has this move, he can feel that something is there but he can't quite put his finger on it. Making its activation rather by accident than will. It is usually triggered when Hunter feels especially upset.
Being rather weak, untrained and not even realized, this move barely does anything - especially not sharing received damage between a target and himself. Usually, it only shares emotional "pain" between Hunter and the other party. This can range from anger to sadness to even depression - it doesn't take and split up the emotions from the source person however, and only transfers an adumbration of the original emotion. It can work from Hunter transferring his emotions onto others, but the other way around as well, depending who has the "stronger" emotion at the moment.
The move can be seen as a faint white ring orbiting Hunter in a 1,5m/5ft radius. Entering this space will immediately activate the move. The longer the other person stays in the radius, the stronger the affect of the move will be, however the "pain transfer" will be interrupted if said person or Hunter move away from each other. After 1-2 minutes after the move has been activated, Hunter will feel emotionally and physically exhausted - depending on how long the move was able to stay active, he will eventually suffer migraines, dehydration and fever.

  •  Hidden Power
    Power-Level: ★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ (3/10)
[A unique attack that varies in type depending on the Pokémon using it.]
Rather unhappy with the typing of this move, Hunter learned how to use it suprisingly fast. When channeling his focus, Hunter can create spiked vines made of greenish energy to coat himself with them. However, he can't do that for his whole body but rather only arms or his tail. Those vines give him a bit raise of defense and special defense, weakening the impact of attacking moves a little. However, the spikes on the 'vines' are not hurtful at all - if anything they could only surprise you with their appearance. Once the mini-buff-shield was hit by any move, it dissappears and has to be summoned once again. It takes quite some focus still activate the move, Hunter most often feels drained and lethargic after the vines dissappear. Not to mention the emotional stress the move can put on him when certain memories are triggered, it can happen that he loses his will to fight completely.

○ PERSONAL INFORMATION ○ "Death is just another part of life, not the end of it."
Nature / Characteristic: Hardy / Capable of taking hits
Personality:
Hunter is anything but a simple person. Maybe a bit simple minded, but that's about it. Most of the time, he's one cocky and loud-mouthed jerk, who says anything that comes to his mind without a filter. Stepping into any scene as if it belongs to him, his presence is always strong - and if not, he's going to make himself noticeable. Even if it means lashing out aggressively. Hunter seems to have a very foul personality in general, liking to taunt other people, hacking on their weaknesses if he ever finds one out. Making fun of them while he himself seems to be... untouchable. Just smiling over every insult you throw at him, shrugging off any desperate attempt to get him off his high throne. An ego that will never crumble or kneel.

Though, things would be so simple if it ended here. Surely, life made him hard. Life made him suspicious about people around him. Made him aggressive and and cynical. However, there is another side to him. One that he buries away most of the time, trying to hide it as if he'd be ashamed of it. Despite his mocking demeanor, Hunter is surprisingly quite protective - as if he's the only one allowed to make fun of other people. He'll get in between any bullying if he knows he can turn the tables to his favor. If not, he's not shy to get help. If there's no help... well, his own safety still comes first, he's not stupid. Though sometimes it still just stings in his heart. Wanting to help everyone but simply not being able to sucks. Maybe his snappy behavior is just a defense mechanism? Who knows. At times, Hunter lets his tough wall crumble, giving a glimpse of his surprisingly a gentle and considerable personality part. Not one to much talk about himself, he rather hears about others, being quite a well listener - a good shoulder to cry on if you ever need one. Supportive and oddly optimistic whenever it comes to get over a problem. Hunter is not one to give up easily. He rather goes down while giving all he got than doing nothing. Not to prove anyone anything, it's more about his own very pride. At least he wants to say he tried. At least he's able to say that he tried to make a change.

In all honesty, the first times he gets into your presence, Hunter may just be a huge pain. But if you give him some time, patience and don't royally fuck up in his eyes, he may will let you see his soft side. And who knows, if you even manage to befriend him, you'll have a friend till the end. Hunter knows he's not the best of person. At least he's trying to change that. Maybe he is the far superior person he claims to be. Or maybe he's just a crazy teenager, who really knows.
