Neat design - most of these that have rounded edges usually feel to organic, but seems like you found the perfect balance here. For whatever reason, it reminds me of a turret from Portal. Maybe it's the white polymer bits combined with the darker underlying parts and the single red lens.

thanks, dude! Well, I haven't thought about adding a body yet. Hopefully I could redo this piece sometime in the future and add a body to it.
