Description Custom Lego sculpture I built as a tribute to commemorate Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) and Kenny Baker (R2-D2), both of whom passed away in 2016.

Update: I added the alternate name for this creation: "Did you miss me?". As a tribute to both whom passed away, Kenny Baker passed away some months before Carrie Fisher, and this is Leia's quote to R2-D2.

This would be totally awesome just as a Lego Star Wars build, but the lovely tribute sentiment takes it way beyond that = fantastic work!

I have just finished instructions for R2-D2 and currently working on Leia. Leia instructions will be free and R2-D2 instructions will cost a small fee. They will both be available in a few days through Rebrickable.com. I will post another reply here when the web page is live. Thank you. Princess Leia and R2-D2 are my 2 favorite Star Wars characters.

SW episode VIII will be heart-wrenching to watch. I am curious how the script needs to be changed for episode IX and if her passing requires any changes in episode VIII as well.

I'd rather see them recast the role than change things too much; this trilogy seemed to me more focused on her. (Having said that, we both know I'll be wrong.)
