I'm looking at this from a plausibility standpoint, and there is nothing with it that seems implausible or non functional.
I probably would put some hard iron sights up on top though. Fancy targeting gizmos seem to fail as wonderful as fancy targeting gizmos are.
Design Standpoint: I'd make the grip such that it sits pretty high on the weapon, like the webbing of my hand should come just behind where the barrel's centerline is. These kinds of weapons are easy to control (and can shoot them fast and accurately). I like the idea of what seems like a trigger that you'd pull perpendicular to the grip angle (as you've got it here) instead of straight back as just about all modern firearms are. Might provide an advantage, especially if you made your grip angle more obtuse. Certainly something different than typically seen.
That last bunch is all design. Nothing wrong with what you have here.
