Description Portrait of a Camaro project for a client... I was asked to create a portrait of my client's boyfriends' '69 Camaro, as a gift for his birthday.
Illustrator CS2, using a pencil rough, after studying a snapshot of the car (for info on wheels, stance, color...)
Not a typical job for me (no radical mods, custom work, etc), but fun to create!

That's incredible. I couldn't imagine how hard that'd be to make on a PC.

Incredible amount of detail and great shadowing! looks like a mixture of vector and digital paintring/drawing. Not as clean as most other car vectors... which is cool

you cannot ever go wrong with the "american muscle"

working on nabbing one myself...either the 2009 model..or i goes all classic n shit and get a 67 rs.....

flying-polock In reply to SplitSecondStudio [2007-09-15 02:06:11 +0000 UTC]

You could always scoop up a repro body.... and just go nuts building a "new" first-gen from scratch!
Thanks for taking time to check it out again!
