Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold is awesome, just look at him .
Shockingly, I 100% support the series “canon” and wholeheartedly ship him with Belle . It’s just a really lovely character story arc for the two of them, at least until the moment I got to before I stopped following the show. Anyway, he's my fave <3
I should probably try to color this once.

You actually made his design look 80% better. The eyes of the original look so cartoonishly silly, probably intentionally, but still. Your version carries the everyone's scared of him vibe.
I mean I know him being a supposed meek craven and presenting himself to his victims with comical gestures had an effect on the design decisions but with all the later episodes focusing on the ooo he's the dark one he's almost invincble only work when he looks serious, as mr Gold, IMO.
I only watched the first two seasons of this, tbh.

I also only watched 2 seasons. It started to get old, and when they introduced, Mulan, I decided it's a good moment to stop watching (I don't know, Mulan is just so not fairytale to me that it was too jarring) so I don't even know what happened since then on the show. But I liked Rumplestiltskin/Mr Gold up to where I watched. I kind of did drew him more creepy here I guess, so I'm relieved that he looks ok? XD
