Karen and X, Teppei and X,which you like better?

Well, Teppei and X because one never really saw much of Karen with him (which is a bit of a pity, if you ask me). And Karen built Shadow after all, so there was more of her with X' little sister in manga/anime. ^^

I also prefer Teppei and X.~~
X sometimes looks like Teppei's brother. And the red headband floating in the air makes me feel unforgettable.~~

I think it might have been interesting to see the interaction between Karen and X, too.
By the way, I think it was sad that the anime didn't show the flashback of that training exercise with Karen and MetalFace that caused him to be injured so badly that he had to be turned into a cyborg. I think that would have given him much more depth in the anime, too, as it explained why he acted as he did in the manga.

MetalFace looks like grim. But he is still a real man.
It's a pity that the anime change too much.

Well, according to the manga he was injured as he decided to help Karen survive their training after all (and it was him who first scolded her for helping a dying trainee before). It was sad and touching when he told Karen in the sickbay "that's what I get for showing my soft side". And in the end, when he sacrificed himself to get the piece of the sun for Karen, these were his last words, too (that Madonna relayed to Karen before she died, too). In the anime, the scene didn't have such an impact as they didn't really show that MetalFace did this all only for Karen. -_-'

Yeah. In the anime, the emphasis wasn't the relationship about Karen and MetalFace. It described Madonna and MetalFace more than others. In the end,why he get the piece of the sun? For Karen? For Madonna? Or for himself? I think it is hard to say.
I prefer manga to anime. It impact me more.

Exactly! I think in the anime you don't really understand MetalFace's change of heart as they only showed him fighting Karen before. I really liked it how Karen told him in the manga when he intercepted her at Kamui "This is not how you really are. Remember, we grew up together."
I really have to write this short fanfic that I have in mind where I want to explore their relationship in the academy of the Machine Empire more. (I see them as being around 16 or 17 when they had that final test where MF got injured, and I think that MF had quite a crush on Karen, and I think she might have felt something for him, too.)

In manga, their relationship is more complex. And there is more attraction to us.
"This is not how you really are. Remember, we grew up together." I also like the words. It impacted MF most.
Transform your fanfic to manga.~~
I think it will be great.

Well, unfortunately I'm no mangaka - I can't do storyboards properly. I prefer to write the story as prose. But if you like, I could write the story and you could draw it? I think you are good at drawing doujinshi.

Unfortunately, now I have little time to painting because of my school work. And I only can imitate others drawings. I don't know how to draw a pose or a expression that I want. So...
I have seen your pics. They are quite good. I think you can do it well by yourself.

Well, the problem is not the drawing, but doing a storyboard. I don't know what are the important scenes to draw and what to leave out. And of course I don't have time atm either as I need to study, too. -_-'

We have the same problem.
Well, I think you can finish your fanfic first and then draw several illustrations in your spare time.
