Molly is quite a gorgeous little cat, isn't she? ^^ She's a perfectly friendly and loving kitty, but she absolutely cannot stand being picked up or held in place. She will try to escape instantly.She's a very funny, mischievous cat with her own special charm. The little guy snoozing in the background is her brother Korin.

Yep, some cats are very nice and affectionate in their own terms but don't like being picked up or held. That's just the way of some cats. She's a looker, for sure.

I'm surprised more cats don't have a problem with being picked up and held or carried around

My own Master BK is very like that. He's OK for a brief pick-up and hold but wants back down NOW. He'll sit or lie next to you for pats and rubs but would prefer not to be in your lap. :shurg: I don't care because he's very affectionate on his own terms which is OK by me.
