Description
Two of my fav characters of all timeΒ Erza Scarlet of Fairy Tail and Lucario of Pokemon. Loved drawing the two together again though this one's better. I loved Erza's kimino I justΒ didn't have exact matching colors for it so I opted to do a kind of different color scheme. Didn't look as nice like I wanted but I think it works for what it is. I had in mind the kimino's I'd see Kamiya Kaoru wear in Ruruouni Kenshin. I remember iking how she'd wear quite a few of them and just dug how many colors some would have. It works on Erza I think.And Lucario he's looking much the same. Well I slightly modify his look sometimes he doesn't look 100 percent the same in each drawing and I'm conciously doing that. Like adjusting his torso to look thicker and not impossibly skinny or adding more muscle mass to his arms and maybe slightly taller. Because I'm quite certain Lucario isn't even up to Erza's shoulders. Oh and his eyes are kind of "anime" ish, just drawn different from a simple black dot but I think it goes a long way.
I'm actually Erzas age now which is neat.

Erza at the moment should be 20 which is how old I am right now. And honestly what's weird about it is that I'm usually not the same age as characters I like or see in movies and books and tv shows or games. At least usually I'm not the same age when I happen to encounter the story they're in. But to give perspective Erza was stated to be 19 at the beginning of Fairy Tail and I was... in high school? Certainly I wasn't close to Erza's age because I was 17 when I graduated. However during the course of Fairy Tail we had the arc where the Guild got frozen in time for seven years and Erza didn't age a day. Not sure how much time really passed in Fairy Tail when the prior arcs happened but for all intents and purposes she was still 19. And at the moment Fairy Tail had a time skip of one year with everyone actually aging and Erza right now is 20. So weird because I've always known Erza to be older than me and even now I still think of her being older than me. It's like when you know a person but have in your mind what you think their age is in comparison to you but then learn you're the same age. It's like that.
