Well, this is my first animation for the Sonic Shorts collab which is spearheaded byI'm really pleased with this. As you can see, I tweened a helluva lot, fun fun. Took me a long time though. And I still can't work preloaders. Egad.
This was based on exactly what I did in real life when I heard the song.
"Unlike Sonic I don't chuckle"
What the fudge? What moron inserts that?
You see, this is why Kuckles the Echidna is becoming less and less popular. What sick, twisted person writes those lyrics? Have you listened to "Escape from the city"?
SEGA want people to mock them. They crave it.
I just hope people enjoy! ^^

This is true not only for their song lyrics, but fo their plotlines REALLY! And I thought Omachao was bad... now they're making 7 Omachao-wannabies called "Wisps", which highly resemble something out of Dora the Explorer. That's. Just. Sad.

Dear God, are they really? In what game?
SEGA, we tell them again and again what people want and don't want and they keep making the same mistakes.
As for Sonic 4, we don't want Sonic to go back to his roots- the 90's are over, let it go. We want a modern, good bloody game. At least Sonic Unleashed kinda got the gameplay in a good place with days stages, the levels were imaginative and the sense of speed wonderful-then the werehoog appeared, and even worse, Chip. Damn that little bugger.
Ah me, everytime it looks like Sonic might claw his way back on track, he goes off on another disastrous tangent.

The newly announced Sonic Colors, in which you chase Eggman around an "intergalactic theme park". They're getting lamer by the zone, if you ask me! Sonic Unleashed had half of what we want, and half of what we don't. Chip was just another Omachao replacement--there's at least one in almost every game. And as for the Day Stages, the one in Holoska was fantastic, not to mention it had a good soundtrack. And, to be honest, I though Sonic and the Dark Brotherhood was okay (they probably could have done better). Let's hope at least the gameplay in Sonic Colors is alright.
Normally I fave and run, but this wan an exception. Your animation brings up a good point!

My god, Sonic's cool and all that, and I enjoy some cheesy rock, but this song and things like Escape from the City are pushing it.

Cheesy rock is good sometimes, but I totally agree. Never sacrfice reason for rythmn as I always say. I mean, Escape from the City tormented me. Yeah, I loved how it sounded, but the lyrics were nauseating.
Older songs like Live and Learn, Open Your Heart, and even some newer ones like Knight of the Wind and His World have some deccent or even good persay, but most really get on my nerves.

Indeed. Tell you what though, I've been really getting into Bentley Jones! The guy who did 'Dreams of an Absolution'. I liked SOnic 06's track, I don't mind the cheesy rock at times. But there's sometimes such innapropriate uses of it, and this song for example has terrible lyrics! They;re not even trying!
But I think we all forget, Sonic is for kids. Fans of his games early on have grown up and want Sonic to move with them, but Sonic is for children... It's hard growing up!

I feel the exact same way, even though I love the song. Poor Silver...
I've never been a big fan of Bently Jones (plz spare me) but I loved the '06 track too. I wouldn't define that song as rock though, more techno if you ask me (unless you mean the remix).
(Although I thought that guy "Lee Brothersomething" did that one)
I'm still grappling with the realization that I'm addicted to a little kid's franchise.

Lee Brothren (I'm not sure about the name either!) is Bentley Jones, it's the same guy using a different name.
It's ok not to like Bentley/Lee, I just like his voice and style of music!
As for the kids franchise, and being addicted to it...
