as you may know, this gorgeous lady it's going to be Katniss in the upcoming movie The Hunger Games (: though she's never been my first choice, i think she'll do a great work!well, since i can't really see her as Katniss with the blonde hair and everything, i did her a retouch & then i realized she really looks like Katniss. what do you think?

I have heard the Lawrence is a great actress (isn't she an academy award nominee?), but I'm just struggling with how old she's going to look. No sixteen year-old looks like that. I think that will take away some of the revulsion we're supposed to feel about the Games.

when you take away all her make up, she doesn't look all that old anymore. And after all, she is only 21. Pulling off 16 isn't all that hard

Honestly, I can't wait for the movie! I've seen Jennifer act, and she's really good, so I definitely think she can pull off 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen (Lol, I just LOVE typing and writing her name!)

I mean she looks cool but I just can't see her as Katniss. She is really too pretty, while Katniss has to be average and roughed up.

I'm thrilled for her as Katniss. Suzanne Collins said herself that Jennifer Lawrence just blew her away, I mean Suzanne was there for every, single, audition and was a huge factor in the casting decision. That right there is a pretty good sign.
Plus she looks just like how I pictured Katniss with a little hair dye and such. I really like the work you did here, that's definitely our Katniss!

Oh God, no. I can already tell that this is going to be a very inaccurate movie. Whenever they change the characters like this, it always ends up terrible. Your version is definitely Katniss, though.

Nice job, but the only thing that bugs me is that Katniss has black hair, and the picture has brown. But besides that, great editing! (:

I read an interview with the director, and he said they are definitely going to dye her hair darker for the movie.

I really hope so, mostly because the actor who is playing Peeta has dark hair and the opposite happens with who is playing Gale, he has blonde hair :/

The problem is that Liam (Gale) is at least 194 cm of height so it's too tall for playing Peeta (I think even too tall for Gale ? lol).

I really like your touchup, but I really don't think she's good for Katniss' role looks-wise. Jennifer is GORGEOUS while Katniss is described a lot as very average. :\
So that kind of bugged me, but acting wise I think she'll be pretty good. : )
I also am not too happy about who they chose for Peeta. I REALLY think they should've persuaded Alex Pettyfer into doing it. D:

Yeah, I mean, Josh is a wonderful actor but I really don't see that "boy-with-the-bread" attitude in him. I maybe would prefered Hunter Parrish or also Alex Pettyfer for the role.

Yea, and have you heard who are Peeta and Gale now? I read a twitter update saying they were cast during my French class and almost screamed out loud xD I yelped and my teacher laughed at me when I told her why. I am SO mad. They don't seem to understand that the acting isn't the only thing. They need the APPEARANCE too. They're going to waste all their budget on appearance than on the movie!
