The scales are so beautifully colored as well as the water. The title takes it further than just a fish drawing and makes you think. Very good!

I would say 'freedom'. The fish doesn't seem to hurry as if it was frightened/ depressed. (No, I cannot read the facial expressions of fish.

Well when I first looked at it I saw freedom. The image's tone seemed to be light and happy, not dark and depressing. Plus goldfish seem to be symbols of wishes and dreams. I could never picture a dpressed gold fish haha!

My friends fish comit Suicide... Then a bat killed the small one, Its a sad but true tail of my friends Fish.

Bat got in to the house and dive bombed in to the tank and killed the fish, however the bat then relized it couldn't swim and ended up drowning. It happen some time in the night and when I came over to my friends place the Cat was going insane infront of the fish tank meowing it head off so when I walked over to see what the cat wanted I saw the bat in the tank and the fish in shreds.

lol yes. It was this japanese fighter fish and my mom kept it in this little cup. I knew that was a bad idea from the start. XD Anyway, after that, we went out to get new cellphones and when we came back there was a dead fish on the floor. Guess he wasn't a big fan of the cup.
