Description
So apparently Ragdoll from the Secret Six comics has a long lost brother named Tack who cobbles shoes in the Middle East.Who knew?
Honestly though, I can't be the only one who thinks Tack from The Thief and the Cobbler and Ragdoll look a bit alike.
Same doll-ish body, same trippy look, same big wide blue eyes, same impish smiles, even same weird skin color scheme (sometimes Tack is pale as fuck and sometimes he's tan, while sometimes Ragdoll is tan as fuck and sometimes he's pale.) And, lets be real, they both can be pretty damn cute at times.
Maybe this was just an excuse to draw two characters I've always dreamed of cosplaying in one picture. Maybe.

Ragdoll is from a comic series called Secret Six. I honestly wouldn't recommend it to you unless you really want to try it because, although it's very funny and touches on some hot topics (gay rights, religion, if killing is ever okay, ect), it's also kind of dark and sadistic at times. I mean, personally I love it, and if you want to try reading it be my guest there are parts I can see you loving, but then there are parts that are just cruel...it's a very hit-or-miss series.

You should watch the Recobbled cut, it's actually really good. It's more of an artsy film like Fantasia than a kid's animation flick, though.
I have a feeling that if Tack was pushed off a building he'd survive. He's nearly as raggedy-dolly as Ragdoll anyway

I love Tack too! Personally I like the Recobbled Cut of the movie far better than the 'original', but the character is still one of my favorites.
Ragdoll is a comic character from the series Secret Six, he's...er....well he's the comedic relief in a way...he's creepy as fuck and his powers are kind of scary actually EVERYTHING about him is scary but he's also kind of cute and funny...it's hard to describe him honestly...so here [link] (New_Earth)

You know, I'm not sure if I had the original, or theRecobbled Cut, I was so young at the time, I didn't really pay attention to it. I loved the the if too, omg. He was the... other cutest. XD

Ragdoll is that EXACTLY. He's such an asshole, and he's so creepy, but I think the most emotionally straining parts of the comic are when HE'S upset, because he has the biggest, most expressive eyes and this weird child mentality thing going on...it;s horrible XD

Well the 'original' is when Tack talks and there's terrible music numbers...the recobbled cut is when the artist originally wanted the movie to be like, an artsy animated film, not a Disney rip off...

Nope. I think he says one line at the end of the movie, and it's "I love you" to Princess Yumyum...oh and in the reobbled, the Thief doesn't talk either. And the Princess doesn't sing, but more development is given to her character so she seems more badass than she does in the original. I used to like the original too when I was younger, but as an 'adult' I can appreciate what the recobbled cut is a LOT more. It took more risks and it just lets the animation speak for itself

The Disney likeness of the original was great when I was young, yeah, and I still like it, but like you said, I think I'll be able to appreciate the other version now that I'm older and don't expect all cartoon characters to break out into song about their feelings.
