Description Thought this; www.deviantart.com/journal/Art… seemed fun soon day one!

I love girafarig ;o; People forget it's a normal type but it is! The name is also a palindrome; it's spelled the same way backwards as forwards.

Anyways, this is my girl Valencia <3 I had fun with this; the bright pink was fun to work with.

I love every gen honestly |D I just love everything about girafarig though; the name is cool, the design is cool, the typing is cool, and it's actually a really good pokemon in game and competitively. Just awesome <3

Ahh I love this clean painterly style. I wish my program allowed me more freedom in that aspect

Thanks! What program do you use? I just paint with the normal brush on like 80% opacity and pen pressure for size and opacity on.

Right, so I'm using a dated version of Manga Studio/ Clip Studio Paint.
I personally can't get good texture from many of the brushes, and they end up very smooth. This is great in some cases but I haven't really been able to layer and create visible changes without it blending; even with color stretch off completely. Maybe it's just me not looking into it enough.

I keep my brush smooth... I find texture happens if you just layer colours. I've never been good with textured brushes. I'd just fiddle with opacities and pen pressure until you find something that works for you... I'm unfortunately not great at explaining |D

You explain just fine. I guess I'll try different brushstrokes by changing my brush size, since pressure doesn't do much in that field. Thank you o/
