Weelll... even though we're thrilled about the comics, some of the fans are less than thrilled with the final character designs XD So I figured, the head boss (no, not Negaduck or J. Gander) musta decided not to pay the actual characters, and just clone them instead. And it didn't go so well. But apparently not everyone notices that it didn't go so well.Related content

Heehee... once I stopped awe-ing over the fact of the comics and finally took a good look at Bushroot, I was.... disappointed (to put it gently), too. I mean, I was ready to accept the contact lenses (hey, his eyes are blue, man!) as much as I CAN, and was even ready to write off the skirt (they'd fix that later, that was just a mistake!), but then the... FUR?? Makes me itch, to be right honest... (I can't stop associating him with Stinging Nettle, Poison Ivy and the like)...

great drawing, and I agree with you, as I do not like put it, Reggie is more emotional and expressive than they are in this "NEW" design, is shown here too gloomy and devoid of personality, I think here we have artists which would have done something better with the design of Reggie.

Seriously though, I was pretty happy with the character designs. hough I will admit Bushroot's vicious expression seemed a bit off to me in the final panel.
(Also the animators themselves couldn't seem to decide on blue or green for his eyes in the original cartoon, so it's not like the comics were making any drastic changes. Although I personally prefer him with blue!)

I like how they made him look more plant-like, but I despise how they made his lower half. Is he wearing some kinda of odd parachute pants or something? The three-toe thing also bugs me.

While I'm all for the alternative or personal drawing style of an individual, I have to admit this Bushroot is weird. I do wish they kept the original design.

I gave up in trying to decide what eye colour Bushroot has, because in the first episode he debuts, his eyes are PURPLE! And then blue. And then later I'm pretty sure they're more a greyish hazel. Apparently Disney couldn't decide, lol.
I noticed the leg thing too, lol. It's the ONLY thing I really thought was "off" about the designs, to be honest. The rest seemed okay to me.

Hahaha! Yes, exactly what I noticed. Haha! The shaggyness, the eye color, and the fact he looked like he was wearing a skirt. Heh. Character design wise, I kind of like it. You know, in a lolzy kind of way. But those eyes...NOT GREEN! NOT GREEEEEEEEEEN!

I do really like how faithful all the new designs are though. Seriously, I was rather worried about crazy new outfits and stuff. If the most I have to deal with are a different eye color and wrist band now and then, I'm a pretty happy camper

The weird legs is the only thing that bothers me XD But Snark and Cheezey are pretty upset with his eyes. And Quacky had stil better be childish and silly at times too! 
... And they could give Liqui legs. And more lines.
But! Other than that. I'm pretty happy with the designers. They keep em alot more... right... than in the older comics.
