Tread was on duty at the control room, gazing at the live feed from the satellite.
Ratchet rolled towards her as he greeted her.

Ratchet: hi Tread, how are you?

Tread: oh, hi Ratch. im alright, just on duty you know...

Ratchet: oh okay... say, d-do you remember operation mud pit?

Tread turned towards Ratchet with a curious yet slightly traumatized look in her eyes as she stared at him.
she remembered that one time with R.R.O.V.E.R.'s first encounter with the Lion Guard, she almost drowned in the muddy sinkhole that they were trapped in.

Tread: y-yes i do remember, why?

Ratchet: well, i have a surprise for you... come with me.

Ratchet said with a friendly smile as he lead Tread, surprisingly, to her own docking station elevator.
Tread was confused but she went with him nonetheless.
they descended towards Tread's docking station, they rolled into it after the elevator stopped moving and opened its doors.

Ratchet: now, would you mind selecting and installing your Construction Kit?

Tread glared at Ratchet with confused eyes.

Tread: is this some kind of trick Ratchet?

Ratchet: oh no! i could never... please trust me.

Tread kept staring at him for a moment before finally setting up her docking station and getting ready for installment.
she was lifted up by hydraulics, the loading bucket was attached and then the crane arm. Tread expected the car lift to lower her again but something strange happend...
she felt her lug nuts loosening as her tires were carefully moved off her axels and they were replaced by big a pair of big tracks.
Tread gazed at them in awe as she was lowered at last.
Ratchet couldnt hold back his excitement as he asked.

Ratchet: what do you think!...

Tread: ...holy mother of lug nuts!!...

Ratchet's excited faded away by Tread's first reaction, thinking she was disappointed

Tread: these are EPIC!!!

Tread drove around on them, they felt even better then her off-road tires.
Ratchet started smiling again as he looked at Tread enjoying her new pair of tracks.

Ratchet: i still remember the moment when you almost drowned in the mud pit, desperately trying to keep the big rock up.
so i figured id try to cheer you up, even though it has been some time since then... besides, these tracks provide you with more stability and traction while operating your equipment.
and also, the large surface ensures you wont sink as fast.

Tread turned to Ratchet with a thankful smile.

Tread: oh Ratch, you shouldnt have!...

Ratchet: oh well, thats me...
