Heh.  Out of curiosity, do a lot of photographers still use light meters?  I know I do whenever I get in the mood to do some photography, but most people I've met who claim to be "photographers" have never even heard of them.

Well, I guess it depends. Some use them while others less so...
The object of this portrait definitely uses one, but he doesn't need it. He is so
experienced, that he will provide you with the correct settings just by looking...

I've heard of them - but my old Minolta Dynax 300Si is point-and-shoot, so I have no control over anything other than focus - I will invest in one when I retire the old timer and invest in my first DSLR.
