Description
Decided I didn't like the original turrets I made, so I updated them on all my ship projects. Here's a the new anti-matter rail cannon and EM turret.

This is a 610mm rail cannon designed for space to space and space to ground combat. The reload rate is so low it is considered "single shot" (90 second reload). It fires a 610mm stabilized anti-matter projectile containing 10 pounds of anti-matter in vacuum suspended by a strong magnetic field. When the projectile hits a target (or is triggered by proximity) the magnetic field collapses and the anti-matter touches the outside of the shell, releasing a blast equivalent to 200 megatons of TNT.

The single-shot version of this turret is designed for ships that don't have enough space for a larger multi - shot version of this cannon.

Behind the AM turret is an EM turret. This fires a targeted EM blast designed to disable electronics and render a starship non-functional. This is considered a "less lethal" alternative used to stop and capture pirates or rowdy civilians.
