Its a great machine if you put it to work with a good lens, I am veeeeeery satisfied!!!!

Whee, great work here with the subject and DOF. Yes, apparently one's eyes should be open for every detail, otherwise one might miss some things

Unfortunately I seem to keep my eyes open only when I don't have a camera with me

Camera is a part of my body, so most of the times I dont loose the chance to shoot interesting stuff... (in the past I lost many good shots because I had no camera with me.... )

Oh, I'm often too lazy to lug around my SLR. To be prepared for anything that might happen I have to pack at least two more lenses and a tripod and that's a bit much to carry around every day

Yes, I totally understand.... in my case, I have replaced my everyday "bag" with a camera bag in which only the camera fits among with a 18-270mm lens... the tripod some times is in the car but I rarely use it....

Ah well, I lack such a lens. I then always have the option of packing something wide-angley or a telephoto lens. And tripod is necessary if you're usually only outside when it's dark

This was the only reason I bought this lens, otherwise I had to carry with me 4 different ones... anyway, I am sure you love photography as much as I do and you have a good artist eye, and thats what matters!!!!
