Description "When you were standing in the wake of devastation,
when you were waiting on the edge of the unknown...
and with the cataclysm raining down,
insides crying, "save me now";

You were there, impossibly alone..."

- - Iridescent song lyrics don't belong to me, neither does Minecraft Story Mode. - -

Minecraft Story Mode hasn't really told any of the character's childhood background stories, and I happen to have a personal fanmade one behind Petra that I use in roleplays and just for myself included.

Petra had no idea who her parents were at birth, (or spawn, as I sort of call it because they never mentioned what it was called in that universe) she barely scraped by on her own as a 9-10 year old tomboy stumbling around the skirts of villages and was malnourished as well as being diagnosed by her future "caretaker" as badly anemic.

Her future caretaker, as you guessed it probably by now since this is fanmade- was Herobrine. Being hunted down himself by people named "artifact keepers", he wasn't doing too well himself. For centuries straight he had been in hiding, not going on rabid hunts anymore thanks to the human population gaining strength and numbers. As a people alone, they were easy to take down- but the artifact keepers were individuals who hunted the supernatural and the unique beings. Each claimed and learned from rare strongholds that held libraries that led to what and where sources of power or unique abilities were.

Most of these sources were people. Most of them were found as people with unusual physical strength and blood or with weapon-forging abilities that were unique, basically old builders or the "special ones" as you might've called them then. Now they were just ancient architectures and mutated people.

There was one prize that they almost got ahold of, but simply couldn't get. It was that stubborn, hellish white-eyed bastard. They cornered him pretty good when they worked up on his pride, though. He was wounded to the point of critical blood loss, it was nearly twice as embarrassing and fuming compared to when that one blonde prince that was the last of his bloodline nearly slaughtered him in his own home with a quick back-to-front stab centuries back.

It was the second time he was defeated by mere mortals. Well, the second attack was several enhanced and extremely intelligent mortals, but it was pretty brutal for him.

He knew the artifact keepers were everywhere, and after the attack he didn't kill anyone for centuries. He stayed in hiding, as much as he hated it. He knew that without him alive, there were no mobs. Without mobs, the human population would explode unwantedly and the world would be devastated.

He found Petra one day, wandering around aimlessly- well, Petra found him rather. After that, he wasn't much of a father but he grew on her and became a stubborn, sort-of-awful but overall okay caretaker. He taught her how to survive and brought her up with him.

Time went by, he began to notice that the area where he stayed with her was beginning to gain sightings of him spread around villages and attention was brought to the area. He didn't want to, but he needed to sell her out or else the world would be devastated. His death would go by unnoticed, but everyone would notice when they figured out all the mobs were gone.

He reported in as anonymous, saying he spotted a 9-10 year old female proxy of himself in the area. They looked each other in the eyes with regret and defeat as the artifact keepers took her away. He was weak now, he couldn't stop them just as much as he couldn't the last time.

They took her and sampled her flesh, cutting out chunks of it from her hands. She escaped before they put her on death row for not needing the body any longer, wearing fingerless gloves from that day forward so no one would ever take her away again.

She knew why he did it, and she was accepting towards what he did- but secretly she still wanted to cry every time she remembered it, as if it were betrayal.

Oh dear gosh.....Such a saddening story. I myself haven't played Minecraft Story mode but I think you have made me want to play it more. As per drawing I believe that it is beautiful and signifies the story quite well. All in all I love it.

Your welcome and I believe it must've taken a while.

That certainly is a painful backstory.. I was taken by surprise when I first read it in our Roleplay. I feel so sorry for Petra.. The drawing adds to that, as well.

Yeah, I sort of do too... Even though I knew I had to add something deep to her background, she didn't end up like this for no reason.

I can kinda see why already.. From what I can tell, it seems to be important to the RP's plot as well..

Did you see the "Take Back the Night" storyline hint, by the way? Snuck it in there since I added the story to the roleplay's character backgrounds.

"He was wounded to the point of critical blood loss, it was nearly twice as embarrassing and fuming compared to when that one blonde prince that was the last of his bloodline nearly slaughtered him in his own home with a quick back-to-front stab centuries back."

Yes, I did notice it!  It caught my attention when it said 'blonde prince', and I immediately knew you were referring to Lucius. XD Are you basically intertwining the two storylines into this backstory?

Not the two roleplays, but the storyline itself yes.

That makes sense. I really like the back stories you make up; they're very interesting and well-detailed. ^^

Thanks! I work pretty hard at them... Most of the time I'm not replying I'm thinking up backstories and future-planned plots. Just recently, I finished up the whole plot to the Decepticon roleplay.

Awesomeness!! Speaking of future plots, you said before that you had the second part of the Morro X Reader plot worked out.. Does that mean there'll be another world after the Minecraft part is done?

Yep! You actually head back to Ninjago a bit later, and that will lead to the beginning of season 7- with you in the middle of it, exactly. There's going to be a whole new set of plot problems that you probably already know about (we've both watched it, of course you do).

There's going to be new affairs, new problems- and new protagonists/antagonists. The ninja will be involved, obviously...

In the second part of the roleplay, the plot's message/basis will be getting at a "which side do you want to choose in a difficult situation" vibe, similar to the Decepticon/Autobot warfare that you're going through in the Decepticon roleplay. It's probably going to be the darkest and most emotionally toggling part, it's the "climax" of the plot as I call it- Even though right now, the Herobrine situation will probably rip your heart into emotional shreds of "awww" by the time I reveal the ending...

You'll start to see Morro's darker side for yourself, even though he won't be acting against you. It'll take a toll on your part, but nothing bad will happen to him, I promise. He's not going to die like in the series, I have a whole other thing planned for you two.

Speaking of "two", you'll start to notice a "three" going on. There's going to be a love triangle involved, that will be a huge part of it; but don't worry, you won't be harmed in the process. The other two people will be, though... 😂

And that's only the second part of the roleplay. Minecraft won't be completely excluded, it comes back in the third part as a huge portion of the plot- and that story will yet to be revealed, the story involves what I'll refer to for now as a "special delivery" from you and Morro.

You would not believe how excited I am for this.. XD This is gonna be freaking awesome!! I'm so excited I can hardly contain the squealing sounds I want to make. XD So, have you actually finished watching Season 6 in the series? That's the vibe I'm getting from this.

I saw the main parts of it that fills it in, the sort-of beginning, middle and end. The ending was pretty well done, the rest of it was kind of cliché and uncorrelated... But the roughed-out message was really well done, the ending with the whole wish irony going backwards in time was very original. I liked that part of it.

The roleplay will involve season 7 and 6 years afterwards, though. Season 6 will pass by without you and Morro even knowing until the ninja stop by for a visit a year and a half to tell the story to you two.

I shouldn't say "you two", though... You and Morro will have a little visitor coming into your lives once you get a home and small, successful life at one of the small islands outside of Ninjago in the third part of the story.

I liked the ending too. It was very interesting and definitely a plot twist. And the rest of the season was pretty good too, just not as good as Season 5.. >:3

And I think I might have a small guess of what you're getting at there, but I won't say. Mostly 'cuz I'm both afraid of being wrong AND of being right. XD
