Honestly, I didn’t wanna google upcoming horror games and just pick a random game from the list. If I did that without doing any research, this Ask would’ve been pretty hollow. But I did not want to spend so much time researching all the horror games individually by looking at trailers and screenshots, I quickly googled and the lists are so long and extensive that I simply said nope, it would've been a huge time-loss. Like Fritz said, the market is saturated and many horror games are bad at being…well, horror games. I’d rather wait until a Youtuber plays a game so I can watch it and draw a conclusion to a finished product, like you’re supposed to. If you place your anticipation on something too high based on a small glimpse, you’ll only end up getting disappointed when the result sucks. I have learned this years ago, go in with low expectations and don’t get too washed away by the hype, no matter what. And yes, this is including the upcoming Ruin DLC, Help Wanted 2, and the FNAF Movie, don't except them to blow you away and change your world, just expect them to be fun, that's enough! I for sure am having these expectations, then I can be pleasantly surprised if they are good, or shrug because they weren't excellent.
