character: mikey way (aka kobra kid)
materials: pentel graphic pen, letraset promarkers
disclaimer: i don't own anything, not making any profit
notes: sigh. okay, let's pretend that the here body isn't totally disproportionate. let's pretend that i actually have some grasp of how light & shade works. let's pretend the hands look a bit better than that. let's pretend that mikey really is that buff in the shoulders. then you've got yourself a half-decent picture. i'm kind of miffed at the things that went wrong in this (& the colour, oh my fuck, the colour, spent hours on it, & it's still not right), but if i don't keep trying i guess i won't get better. so! here's the next in the killjoys series, kobra kid with his karate skillz.

Us artists often have problems with proportions, but as you do I try to mend for it with the practise! I love this series of drawings!
