“You again? I hope you haven’t done anything this time.” Jack greeted the children on a little sarcastic tone. His then noticed Courage. “My dog! You’ve been bumping around again, haven’t you? Thank you for bringing him back. He always tries to sneak back to his previous owner.”
“How did you get Courage?” Bubbles asked curiously while she was scratching the dog’s belly.
Jack told them that Courage was given to him by an old lady, who couldn’t manage to take care of him anymore because of her health conditions. Jack agreed to keep the little dog and provide him a good home. Since then, Courage keeps sneaking back to the old lady.
“I see you like animals.” Jack looked at Bubbles. “Would you like to play with him?”
Bubbles was thrilled by the chance and she ran out immediately with Courage to the schoolyard.
