Description
My background is in art history so all of my work tends to be influenced by some particular artist or era. My favorite style is art nouveau for its curvilinear line, vibrant use of colorful patterns, and its connection to nature.

Birds have been a favorite subject of mine since I opened the "B" Worldbook Encyclopedia as a child and began drawing different species of birds over and over again. This particular bird is based (loosely) on the Western Kingbird.
