But I'm sure there's something special about the DoF in your photos. I suppose it's your camera then? It really is exceptional and beautiful dof.

no, nothing pecial really everything is more about light I think, dof I have the same as can everybody has for small amount of money... I am mainly using canon 50mm lens bought for 80€ (around 110dollars)

It could be the lighting, you're right. I've never done portraits or studio work, so I wouldn't really know

I meant in controlled conditions; I almost never "set up" a shot, I usually shoot what's already there, like nature photography

Yeah, that is 95 of my work, too.. natural light is the best, this on was my first shoot with external flash like this... trying more experience now... but tommorrow again just me, model, camera and sun again. wish you the best
