Honestly I’m going to have to call you a liar because there is now way this is your first background it looks to good. The overhead view is looking pretty fancy and all these cool colors are just really refreshing to look at like hell. The ambient natural vibe is my bais and I just really love how the water goes muddy to clear in the back that is such a nice detail. The swirles??? on the rock are just so pleasing and I adore how the brush is painted. And the stalks of grass are so nice and the water just has A+ painting work. AND ALL THE LITTLE FISH AND THAT ONE GIANT FISH COMING FROM THE FIGURES SHADOW

oh golly almost had a mini panic attack when i read the first sentence of your comment before reading the rest xD. And I meant like, this is the first thing i've drawn with a background in a while, as in, i probably haven't drawn something with a background for a couple months until this lol
