Here's a picture I did mostly in Starbucks tonight. I've seen a small magazine scan of Yazoo that hasn't surfaced larger yet so I took a stab at trying a rendition of it just so I can have a bigger picture (I really liked the expression and didn't really do it justice in my drawing)...LOL. He looks sort of funky but I'm rusty when it comes to actually trying to draw something to look like something existing. But this'll tie you over until I can get some more funnies up.06/05/05: Edited the chin a bit.
05/06: Boy oh boy does he not look like the picture. LOL...all hail finding a clearer, yet still really small shot. But oh well, still a decent enough drawing.

It looks wonderful! ^_^ I do that with small pictures aswell, especially the cell phone pictures (how else would I know what Aeris's face looks like?). I think you did a great job, he looks just like Yazoo! I hope Square focuses a bit more on him, because Kadaj and Loz seem to be getting more attention.

Well I hope their roles in the movie are decent, even if it is supporting for Kadaj. We'll just have to wait a few months and find out. But yeah, sometimes those small pictures are the way to go.

That is quite nice. I like how you did his lips. And the glowing eyes are perfect. I might've seen that scan, but I can't remember. *shrug* He looks crazed in every picture though, so they all look a little the same to me.

I've seen two versions of the scan. One very fuzzed up, the other fairly clear...but too small to be thrilled about. I hope somebody gets to zoom in on that pic and post it soon.

I always think he's got too much chin...LOL. But Its pretty close to the proportion in the scan, especially at the angle.

You did a pretty good job on it - it looks just like that picture. Maybe... just maybe, the chin is a bit too much - he seemed to have a more slender jawline to me... but then again, maybe I'm wrong.

I can always go back in and work on the chin., since I've had two suggestions now I shall actually go take a look and see about fixing it. Yeah Loz is on the left in the scan (love his expression too but he'd be too hard to draw from that shot)

I don't think it's that bad, with the chin. It looks quite awesome as it is. It just seems to me that this is where the copy and the original differ a bit.
