Captain Damascus is one of the five royals of the Pirate Guild although how he got that position was not by election of the crews of the pirate guild but by cold blooded murder, blackmail and threats. He is an old school pirate who thinks the Pirate King is too soft. He wants the throne for himself and isn't afraid to partner with the Holy Empire or the Kingdom of Bain to overthrow the King. Damascus carries the dagger of the damned.
