Description
Sit on Command:
"Janus, sitz," Oliver commanded firmly, pinching his fingers as a cue. The Royale puppy plopped onto his sitter and looked up at his handler, ears perked as much as they would, expectant and happy. His tail curled and unfurled in a slow wag as he waited for his treat with shining blue eyes. "Sehr gut," Oliver assured, handing a piece of particularly smelly liver to the pup.
Stay:
"Platz," was the next command, and Janus settled onto his hip to watch as his handler walked away. He tilted his head and he watched the man leave. He huffed and looked at the judge expectantly, as if to say, Yo, man, where's my human!? Oliver came back and called the pup to him, and he excitedly wiggled the whole way to him again. "Yea-ha! Good boy!"
Greeting (headshot):
Oliver shook hands with another handler as the puppies looked at each other, wagging their tails and wiggling. "Janus, sitz," he commanded firmly, in a gentle voice. The cream sable sat, looking up at his handler and to the stranger, ears flopping and a curious look on his face. "You may say hello," he said to the other handler, who reached down to rub under the puppy's black chin and he closed his eyes and sighed contentedly.
