A quick sketch of Jin Kanzaki, at 17 (though he doesn't know his age for sure) from the series "Zetman" by Masakazu Katsura, which is the manga that I've got into recently.He's a pretty cool guy, and the story is compelling, but the series is not well known so I don't have anyone to share my fangirl squee with.
And no, this series is not made into anime.
Anyway....I don't think I've done any fan art drawing in which the figure is wearing modern clothing before.
I like Katsura's style. Learning his style was also the purpose of this drawing.

This series was really a surprise for me. I didn't think I would like it, but I do, mainly because of this guy. His highly detailed drawing on each page makes RT looks like she's really old fashioned.

well, i don't know. I plan to stop (or do 90% less) fan art after the end of this year, or when I finish the current projects. Whichever comes first.

I totally agree. I love anime, but not dubs. Especially in Spanish (I'm from Argentina)>< They censor and change the words and cut scenes and the actors SUCK. I always read the manga's first though.

In germany they censored naruto when he was about to hit someone they just cut out the whole scene... and they took out zabuzas sword XD
I also prefer manga but there are exceptions for examlpe full metal alchimist the anime was way better...

Dubs suck >< But I do have to disagree with you there...I prefer the FMA manga all the way. I absolutely ADORE the anime, but to me they're like two separate stories altogether. I love them both but can't see them as the same series if that makes sense

I really like the manga^^ but i think he looks better with a ponytail.
The story is a little bit like marvel-comic-story with saw-movie elements^^ but it's still one f my favorite manga^^

There is similarity to marvel comic etc. I never liked any of the marvel comic stories, but I do like this one for some reason.

don't like marvel-comic's either...
The thing that got me interested in this one were the time-skips from when he was young to teenager (although I really don't think a 15 year old can beat 10 people with baseball bats) to his "nearly" adult form.
Plus I really think the homeless girl with the braces is cute XD.
